City Brawl
City Brawl is a 3D side-scrolling beat-'em-up where you fight your way through a city run by street gangs. Each district is packed with thugs who come at you in waves, and you clear them out with punches, kicks, grabs and blocks before moving to the next part of town. At the end of a district a boss waits, and beating it opens the way forward.
The fights are quick and messy in the best way. Chaining your attacks into combos is the key to staying alive when several enemies surround you at once.
How to Play City Brawl
Move through each street, knock out every gang member and keep your health bar from hitting zero. Mix your attacks instead of spamming one button: punches are quick, kicks hit harder, grabs let you control a single enemy and blocking saves you when the crowd gets too big.
Combos and Bosses
String punches, kicks and grabs together to build combos that clear groups of enemies faster. Bosses take more hits and punish careless attacks, so block their big swings and strike back when they open up.
Oranges and Upgrades
Defeated enemies drop oranges, the game's currency. Spend them between fights to upgrade your fighter, raising stats such as health and punch power so you can handle the tougher districts later on.
Tips for City Brawl
- Do not get surrounded. Keep enemies on one side of you so you can hit them all at once.
- Block before you attack bosses. Learn their attack pattern, then hit back in the gaps.
- Collect every orange. Upgrades make the later districts much easier.
- Put early upgrades into health. Surviving longer gives you more chances to land combos.
